The store was okay. To bad they ran out of eggs but otherwise great service during the long weekend
They do a good job being the last stop on the delivery line. Helpful staff. Limited shelf space so not all products are available as would be in a larger centre.
Walked in from the marina to reprovision the boat. Had a great selection of everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised for such a small town.
I grabbed 5 bags of almonds that said $1.00 on them and after they scanned for a $1.00, I asked for the expired ones to be taken off my order. The supervisor then chimed in and said they were a $1.00 by mistake and then grabbed them and voided my order saying they are the wrong price. So the stores mistake is my fault? My responsibility? This is so wrong on so many levels. Have contacted loblaws and Ill see what response I will get. Never has something scanned been taken from me. The supervisor might not be to blame but this is not the proper policy I believe she is misinformed and needs better training. We must work together to not have incidents like this. I enjoy supporting my local store and this experience puts a distaste about ever shopping there again. We probably spend at least $5000 a year at this store if not double! I sure hope we can learn from this and a remedy is made. Maybe training for staff about customer service? Thank you .
Never a second cashier. The "Express" line is used for all checkouts thus negating the "Express" checkout concept. If you are in line, you will be in line for a very long time. Avoid during lunch hour. I have walked out due to waiting 10-15 minutes on several occasions. A lot of items are close to expiry if not expired yet you must pay a premium. Very limited shelf space. No consistency in item stock such as cheese, yogurt, frozen. Most bread items are within days of expiration. During the summer, don't even try to buy sale items, they are all gone on day 1 or 2 (tourists). I give 2 stars because this store has good hours.
