Been going since I was a baby!!. 36 years later i still love it. And myb12 and 18 year old sons love it too!!. Generation 3 so far. Maybe a fourth to come one day!!..lol
Great people and amazing location.
Jim Noble and his team have done an amazing job on this treasure of a park. Everyone here is friendly and warm and willing to help out. The hospitality is on a whole other level. The lakeshore is beautiful and the sites are quite big (ours had two picnic tables and room for 3 tents). If you are interested in experiencing the culture and spirit of Manitoulin Island, you MUST stay here. Currently it is a cash only operation but the management is flexible.
The owners of this park get a 5 star!! The amenities are older but sufficient. Some locations in the park are rather rowdy. There is no noise curfew as in other parks. All new electrical done within the park and during the summer months they have a fabulous snack bar that has fabulous food!! Apparently the fishing is great and I know that it's a great lake to canoe in.
Excellent grounds but tightly spaced that is managed by extremely friendly staff that try to accommodate everyone. Cash only is something that could be improved upon. They are expanding. Overall a good experience with hot showers and bon fires to close the day.
